Calian’s teleport in Guam expansion project to support Eutelsat One Web is now complete, and just in time to provide vital connectivity support for disaster relief efforts following recent earthquakes in Taiwan. Eutelsat OneWeb is utilizing their gateway at the Calian Guam teleport to support mobile rescue vehicles in affected areas—enabling first responders to synchronize with response centres. This enables vital communications for relief workers and disaster victims who are facing network disruptions and power supply issues, providing support across affected areas.
